On the shelves this week: 1. Wooden Lacing Tree 2. Wooden Beads and Shoe Lace (it was a gift and I don’t remember where it was from 3. Toilet Paper Roll and Kitchen Towel Roll cut up and Pipe Cleaners. Sixtine absolutely loves these activities and seeing the concentration on her face is always priceless!

Threading and Beading Activity Aim:

  • Requires concentration and patience.
  • Shape and color discrimination.
  • Prepare for counting.
  • Develop fine motor control.

 I will be adding a few beading and threading kit on my shop in a few weeks so keep an eye out for them!     There’s a beautiful threading apple with a worm or caterpillar attached. Joshua showed some interest in it, perhaps Sixtine would like it too as it is quite sweet! Joshua loves the very hungry caterpillar so that’s probably why!
